“ This is definitely one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the Northshore area! Al Fresca Ristorante is always packed for a reason, actually make that a number of reasons all being positive. The waitstaff and service here is always exceptional and the entire team and bartenders are always so friendly and very welcoming! I’ve eaten here dozens of times and till this day I’ve never had a bad meal so it’s a place I always feel comfortable on coming back to over and over again because it’s a sure thing and a good one at that. The restaurant has multiple areas to dine in, the main front area has comfortable booth seating and they also have a wrap around bar in the front dining area and one in the back dining room which is much bigger, more of a banquet size room. They designed the decor very well and they keep it exceptionally clean at all times. There’s plenty of free parking in front and on the side of the building. If you like a huge menu selection with big portions of food and Italian cuisine that’s absolutely delicious and priced right then Al Fresca Ristorante is the only place you need to try. ENJOY :) ”
“ Absolutely amazing food. Great service. We had eggplant parm, chicken picatta and vegetable angel hair marinara, along with one Al Fresca salad that we shared. The meal started with crispy, warm bread. Make sure you make reservations well in advance. ”
“ I had my son's 21st Birthday here and was wonderful!! Sharon was our server and she was on her game. The food was amazing and seasoned perfectly! Thank you for a wonderful time! Something I will treasure always! ”
“ Delicious Italian cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. The veal chop, nicely presented and served on a cutting board along with fluffy/buttery mashed potatoes and mixed veggies was one of the best I've had. The service was excellent! ”
“ Quiet, comfortable and top notch Italian eats!! Got a table right away around 5 on a Friday night, celebrating our wedding anniversary. Ordered a drink, (Italian Margarita ) antipasto salad for two and the mussels marinara. The bread!!!!! So soft, warm and fresh with olive oil and balsamic I could have eaten another basket of that. Meals were the Al Fresca special with steak, chicken and scallops and I had the chicken Josephine with eggplant and angel hair. We both took home leftovers everything was so tasty and our server Karen was very personable and attentive. Highly recommend. There's a bakery and Italian market right next door don't miss that before you leave. ”
“ I truly believe Al Fresca's is a hidden gem. The food is second to none. The regular menu is good but the specials menu is great. The chef/owner is very creative. You can't beat the prices, most dishes are 30 or less including shrimp and veal dishes. I really like the appetizer shrimp francase and my wife loves the chicken saltimboca. We have referred many people there and have not heard a bad word. Go and enjoy their great food!!! ”
“ We’ve dined here on a number of occasions and they are always busy ...rightfully so because their food is outstanding. If you visit during prime time and don’t have a reservation, expect a wait. On this visit we arrived around 3 p on a Saturday and the only seats available was at a high top in the bar. Our server was attentive and friendly. We had a side garden and Caesar salad, eggplant parm over ziti and haddock francese. The eggplant is thinly sliced, sauce a bit on the sweet side which is how we like it. The haddock was battered, lightly fried and perfectly cooked. An outstanding meal for about 60 excluding tax and tip and water for drinks. Oh, the warm, crusty bread with herb and garlic balsamic dipping oil was great too! You won’t be disappointed! ”
“ We've eaten here several times, and they're constantly busy, which makes sense given how good their food is. There will likely be a delay if you arrive during busy hours without a reservation. The only seats available during this visit were at the top of the bar, and we came at roughly 3 p.m. on a Saturday. Our waiter was polite and attentive. We ate haddock french, eggplant parm over ziti, Caesar salad, and a side garden. We prefer the sauce to be slightly sweet, and the eggplant is thinly sliced. The haddock was cooked to perfection after being battered and lightly fried. A great supper for roughly 60, not including water for drinks, tax, or tip. Oh, and the warm, crispy bread with balsamic dipping oil flavored with herbs and garlic was delicious! You won't be let down! ”
